PETP

Polyethylene Terephthalate

PETP can be used as a material for engineering structural parts and is one of the five major engineering plastics. It has good mechanical properties and stiffness, good physiological inertness, and can be used for food contact materials, with a temperature of -40-110°, and better mechanical properties and temperature resistance after fiber modification.

PETP

Advantage

Characteristic:

1. High mechanical strength, stiffness and hardness. Good sliding and wear strength, good electrical insulation, very good creep resistance, low and stable coefficient of friction excellent wear resistance (compared to nylon).

2. Very good dimensional stability (better than POM), physiological inertia (suitable for contact with food). Weather resistance, good stability against chemicals, low water absorption, resistance to weak acids and organic solvents, but not water and alkali resistance.
